Online Tools (ScreenPLAY)
- Teachers and psychologists can use ScreenPLAY
to oversee and guide at-risk teens in their self-directed use of this online, video-based
interactive tool.
Developed by the late
Dr. Evelyne Corcos, an educational psychologist at York University,
ScreenPLAY helps teens improve their social skills and become sensitized to
the impact they are having on those around them.
The resource contains examples of bullying (verbal and things like the intrusion of personal space)
and helps teens identify and respond positively to a range of nuanced emotions like
jealousy, anger, fear, anxiety, and many more.
Users can also create their own video scenarios and share comments with other users.
The resource makes it fun to learn how to identify and respond positively to asocial and
anti-social behaviours.
